Tomson Studio lets you pick a different video engine per shot. There is no single best model — only the best one for a given moment. Here is how we think about the trade-offs.
Google Veo
Veo is a strong all-rounder with great prompt adherence and natural motion. It handles image-to-video well, which makes it a reliable default for shots that continue from a previous frame. Reach for Veo when you want clean, coherent camera movement.
Seedance 2.0
Seedance is fast and expressive, with support for longer clips and first/last-frame control. It is a great pick for dynamic action and when you want more length out of a single generation. If a shot feels too short, raise the duration and let Seedance run.
Kling v3 Pro
Kling leans cinematic, with rich texture and motion. It shines on atmospheric, stylized shots where mood matters more than literal accuracy. Use it for establishing shots and moments you want to feel filmic.
A simple workflow
- Blocking pass: use a fast model to rough out timing and composition.
- Hero shots: switch to the model that best matches the mood of the moment.
- Continuity: for shots that follow another, continue from the last frame to avoid hard cuts.
Bring your own keys
Models run on your own provider keys, which you manage under API Keys. That keeps you in control of cost and access, and means new models are available to you as soon as your provider ships them.
